JOB PURPOSE

Your purpose is to orchestrate the perfect harmony between suppliers and our organization, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality operating supplies and equipment (OS&E). By building strong relationships, negotiating contracts, and monitoring supplier performance, you will elevate our procurement process to new heights. Collaborating closely with internal stakeholders, you will curate a flawless collection of items, adhering to stringent quality standards and exceeding guest expectations. RESPONSIBILITIES

· Build and maintain strong relationships with OS&E suppliers, including manufacturers, distributors, and vendors.

· Evaluate supplier capabilities, negotiate contracts, and monitor supplier performance to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.

· Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as procurement managers, project managers, and operational teams, to understand their OS&E requirements.

· Coordinate with suppliers to source the necessary items, ensuring adherence to quality standards, specifications, and budgetary constraints.

· Receive and review purchase orders for OS&E items, verify accuracy, and process them accordingly.

· Coordinate with suppliers to confirm order details, delivery schedules, and any customization or special requirements.

· Implement and maintain quality assurance procedures to ensure that OS&E items meet the required standards and specifications.

· Act as a point of contact for supplier-related issues, including order discrepancies, delays, product defects, or any other concerns.

· Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to address and resolve these issues promptly and efficiently.

· Maintain accurate records of supplier communications, order details, and other relevant documentation.

· Stay updated on industry trends, new product developments, and emerging suppliers in the OS&E market.

· Conduct market research and supplier evaluations to identify potential new partnerships and opportunities for cost savings or improved quality.

REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS

· Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience in hospitality procurement.

· Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

· Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships, negotiate contracts, and foster trust with suppliers.

· Collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and drive procurement strategies aligned with overall business objectives.

· Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate challenges, find innovative solutions, and make informed decisions.

· Excellent time management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
