Managing e-commerce & sales processes operationally.

Overview:

we looking for an E-Commerce Administrator for one of our clients based in Kuwait.

You will maintain the catalog of products and offers on the e-Shop & the company website using the web tools. This includes various Fitness equipment and accessories and any other products that are sold through the e-Shop and the client’s website.

Requirements

Summary of role
• Day-to-day management and operation of an e-commerce website
• Generate and update website content (products, content, promotions)
• Work with agencies to build traffic & sales via the website (PPC agency, email marketing provider, e-commerce provider, etc)
• Plan, define and implement website changes and functional improvements
• Maintain and update the online marketing plan for the website
• Monitor key performance indicators on the website and develop plans to improve them

Key Experience
• Understanding of the disciplines required to drive traffic to retail websites (ppc, email marketing, link generation, online pr, SEO, offline marketing and pr, affiliate programmes, etc)
• Understanding of order management/customer fulfilment in an e-commerce context
• Experience using packages like Excel and Photoshop
• Computer literate and understanding of basic web technologies (FTP, browsers, basic HTML, data files)
• Familiar with data management
• Familiar with data entry
• Previous experience of website or e-commerce CMS
• Basic understanding of Google products such as Webmaster Tools & Analytics would be desirable
• Experience of Woo-Commerce, Magento would be a plus
• Fluency in English

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the product catalogue on e-Shop & Company Website
• Test and deploy functional projects /improvements
• Scope and document ongoing website functional projects /improvements
• Investigate and report any operational/technical issues arising
• Build, test and deploy new devices as per the Consumer Devices Roadmap
• Build, test and deploy new campaigns
• Work with Manufacturers to source launch assets
• Liaise with Web Content & Design team on product content & images
• Responsibility for maintaining Online product pricing & plans ensuring that price changes are implemented in an accurate & timely manner
• Work with eCommerce Product manager on all aspects of the e-Shop including sales and marketing campaigns
• Regular sanity checking of the catalogue – correcting presentation issues, liaising with warehouse on stock issues
• Represent online shop in campaign and promotion planning
• Manage any issues that arise on the e-Shop & Company Website – raise tickets and follow up with Technology until resolution
• Provide input when required on projects related to the Online Store (e-Shop & Company Website)
• Key member on eCommerce team focused on Optimising customer experience to drive digital conversion

Education & Experience:
• Degree qualified in an IT, science, or engineering discipline
• Understanding of online systems
