Role Overview
We are seeking a Solutions Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong functional knowledge and some technical understanding. The role involves analysing business requirements to create functional and technical solutions. Responsibilities include ensuring compatibility with existing systems, maintaining thorough documentation, and participating in project planning and risk management.
Responsibilities
• Develop solutions that enhance customer efficiency and productivity.
• Participate in all stages of the project lifecycle from discussion and design to implementation.
• Discuss, design, and present solutions to customers.
• Take responsibility for development project activities, including requirement analysis, solution design, and specification writing.
• Acquire new knowledge within targeted customer segments and relevant IFS functionalities.
• Provide workshops to present solutions, perform estimates, and define and deliver complete ERP Solutions.
• Define and deliver solutions for specific process areas such a maintenance, supply chain, manufacturing, projects and finance.
• Manage implementation and project upgrades and work as an application consultant providing services for specific functions.
• Be part of a project team focused on delivering the best possible solutions to our customers.
• Leads efforts in defining business processes, basic data set up, defining additional functions, data migration, training, and documentation preparation.
Knowledge, skills, and abilities
• University Degree with a specialization in Science, Engineering or a similar field.
• 10 or more years of experience in implementation and or support of business applications software. Preferably IFS.
• Business process knowledge in one or several IFS application areas.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• In-depth technical expertise is not required but the ideal candidate should have the ability to assess the feasibility of technical solutions.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.
• Ability to travel to customer sites.
