Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Engineer to join our team. As a Site Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
– Plan, organize, and manage construction projects from inception to completion.
– Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project specifications and deadlines are met.
– Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and quality of work.
– Manage and resolve any technical issues or challenges that may arise during construction.
– Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
– Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including drawings (AutoCAD), schedules, and reports.
– Provide regular updates and reports to project stakeholders.
– Mentor and supervise junior staff members as needed.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
– Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction project management for candidates with a BSc degree.
– National Diploma in Technology preferred, with a minimum of 10 years of experience for candidates with this qualification.
– Strong knowledge of Pre Cast Installation & Steel Fabrication and Erection.
– Proficiency in MS Office suite.
– Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
– Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
– Must be between the ages of 30-40.
Additional Qualifications (Preferred):
– Professional Engineer (PE) license.
– Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
– Familiarity with construction management software such as Primavera or Procore.
– Experience working on large-scale construction projects.
