Job Purpose: Support Maintenance team to maintain all Machinery, equipment in the plant, in perfect running condition while attending to all other utility functions of the organization. Key Responsibilities: Help to maintain all Plant and machinery in the above-mentioned areas in peak condition by effectively implementing Preventive maintenance program Help to provide continuous services in electricity, water supply, air conditioning, telephone and fire prevention. Maintain available spare parts for Plant and Machinery and bring to the notice of superiors any shortcomings/ shortages in the system to engineering coordinator Apply innovative and creative methods and recommend methods to improve machine performance, productivity, and reduction of waste Provide engineering support to implement Environment, Safety & Health policies of the organization Coordinate with QA, Production, Stores, and other relevant areas to achieve common goals of the organization and maintain high quality standards of our products. Train relevant employees who deal with machinery, utensils and other engineering and maintenance tools to improve productivity and efficiency of the production process and machineryDocument all maintenance and engineering related activities to comply with Global QMS and EHS policy requirement as and when required. Carry out the tasks adhering to CMMS system. Limited to authority level defined in system. Ability to issue PTWs after getting relevant internal trainings. Carry out repairs to electrical installation, motors starters, lightning installations etc. Report any unusual incidents/ breakdowns etc., to the engineering coordinator. Suggest and assist in implementing any continuous improvements/suggestions related to the work undertaken. ELCB testing, panel board service and general works including live work Carry out hot works. Fire & Emergency Response Operation Support implementation of machinery safety and LOTO program Adhere to relevant L1 schedules, Zap reporting and timely completion of VQD, EHS one actions. Fire and evacuation Team responsibilities: Emergency response team member. In the event of fire emergency attend or assist firefighting /assist employees for evacuation and attend rescue if needed and assist fire brigade on request. EHS Responsibilities: Demonstrate personal commitment on ensuring global EHS policies and guidelines. Ensure compliance of relevant work areas to HALEON EHS policies, guidelines and local regulations. Timely communication of EHS information. Ensure and support training of employees on EHS aspect. Living safety: Cultivate the EHS culture across the site through Living Safety and lifesaving rules that embraces and integrates EHS into all operations and activities. Experience and Knowledge required: Should possess a technical qualification relating to Mechanical & Electrical Engineering. At least 07 years’ experience as a Maintenance Technician/fitter preferably in food or pharmaceutical industry. Should demonstrate basic knowledge on Engineering and EHS standards in large/medium scale manufacturing environment. Should be able to work independently and get work done through contractors.
