The Senior Accountant – International Accounting is committed to maintaining the highest standards of accuracy, compliance, and client satisfaction. Responsibilities
• Prepare and analyze financial statements for international clients, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and adherence to relevant accounting standards and regulations.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including timely submission of tax returns, financial reports, and other compliance documents.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for clients. Monitor financial transactions, reconcile accounts, and ensure proper documentation of financial activities.
• Build strong relationships with clients, serving as their primary point of contact for accounting-related queries. Provide guidance and support to clients on financial matters, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Conduct financial analysis and provide meaningful insights to clients regarding their financial performance. Identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement, and recommend appropriate actions.
• Assist clients in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts. Monitor actual financial performance against budgeted targets and provide regular reports and variance analysis.
• Continuously assess and enhance accounting processes and procedures to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and compliance. Implement best practices and leverage technology to streamline workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as legal, tax, and finance, to ensure coordinated efforts and provide necessary support to clients.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in accounting principles, regulations, and technology.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Management, or associated fields.
• CA Full qualification (The ideal candidate must be a qualified Chartered Accountant)
• Minimum 5 years overall experience in an international capacity and should have experience preparing and drafting comprehensive financial statements.
• The successful candidate must manage a team of accountants and account executives
• Must be proactive in building the international accounting offering. This is a senior-level appointment and will join the Senior Management team.
• Top-notch communication skills.
• Exceptional English language proficiency (Mandatory).
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Prior experience in Xero package.
