Relationship Manager – Middle Market Enterprises

The individual in this role will be tasked with overseeing the following responsibilities in our Commercial Banking Team.

• Manage a portfolio of MME clients to achieve set performance targets by deploying effective Relationship Management strategies to be the main banker in all key customer accounts.
• Achieving revenue and PBT targets for the respective portfolio with a greater emphasis on booking new assets, growing liabilities through customized solutions, Account Planning and deepening the wallet share through cross selling the bank’s customized products and solutions. Collaborate with branches, product teams in treasury, Consumer Banking, Leasing and Cards to achieve targets set for cross referrals.
• To build a portfolio less susceptible to economic cycles avoiding segmental concentration
• Aggressively expand the customer portfolio by adopting relevant sales strategies, identifying and on boarding new clients with close coordination with the branch network.
• Provide outstanding relationship management and customer service to be the main banker in all key customer accounts.
• Facilitate carrying out detailed analysis of credit proposals and preparing reports for approval by the relevant credit approving authority.
• Ensure the portfolio and all lending transactions comply with the highest credit standards and the Bank’s credit policy and guidelines
• Prudent post disbursal follows up and restructure / reschedule in instances where necessary
• Motivate and develop the assigned support team in line with respective career development plans.

• Advanced theoretical and practical skills in lending and finance.
• Basic skills in marketing and sales.
• Good understanding of trade financing, treasury operations and digital products of the bank.
• Competency in general management and leadership.
• Excellent interpersonal & communication skills.
• Trilingual capability will be an added advantage

• Minimum of 07 years’ experience in a Bank / out of which 2 Years at Assistant Managerial Level with exposure to Relationship Management/Credit Management
• A Degree or a Full/Part Qualification
