Operational Risk Manager
The job holder is responsible to promote and assist in maintaining an effective Operational Risk Management Culture within the Bank in accordance with the Integrated Risk Management Framework /Operational Risk Management Policy.
The Job:
Review the Operational Risk Policy/guidelines in line with the requirements of the Integrated Risk Management Framework and to improve the Operational Risk Management (ORM) process in the Bank, taking into account best practices and changes in local and international standards, business environment and regulatory requirements
Oversea the implementation of Operational Risk Management tools in the Bank and recommend improvements of Products, Policies and all procedural documentation of other departments to ensure that the controls are adequate to mitigate all operational risks
Preparation of reports to the Risk Management/Board Audit committees and Board of Directors
Presentations to Risk forums.
The Person:
Should possess the following:
Full qualification in Banking or Finance or a degree in a related field
A minimum of 10 years of banking experience spanning multiple disciplines of which a minimum of 5 years of Operational Risk experience is mandatory.
Sound Knowledge of Banking operations and Risk management.
Strong communication (both oral and written), presentation and analytical skills are mandatory.
