Role Description
We are looking for a Manager in Tax and Reconciliation to join our Finance team. You will be responsible for daily tax-related activities, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and reconciling general ledger accounts. The role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. This is an on-site position based in Colombo, providing you with the opportunity to make a significant impact in our organization.
The Person
· Overall finance-related experience of over 8 years with a minimum of 3 years post-qualified experience in the field of taxation.
· Full qualification in CA/ACCA or a bachelor’s degree in accountancy.
· Possession of a good relationship with government revenue authorities.
· Ability to understand and apply tax laws and changes therein.
· Ability to take initiative and work independently.
· A team player with a positive attitude and good interpersonal skills.
· Competency in MS Office package.
· Tax-related experience in a reputed audit firm is an added advantage
