The candidate in this position will be responsible for overseeing the following job responsibilities in our Finance Unit.

Responsibilities
• * Conduct, supervise and review the analysis and reconciliation of accounts in relation to cards and digital banking products while coordinating with business, operations and IT.
• Conduct, supervise and review the other GL reconciliations including intermediary /control accounts which are used for financial reporting and management reporting throughout the group.
• Engage in Cards and digital banking related new product developments and UATs to define accounting, financial reporting and reconciliation processes.
• Investigation and follow up high value, unusual and long outstanding items with an age analysis and ensure those items are rectified and actioned on a timely manner.
• Ensure that adequate systems and controls are in place for proper recognition, measurement, classifications, valuations of all transactions and review the adequacy of internal controls over the reconciliation and analysis process.
• Accountability of Assets is maintained, and Liabilities are promptly detected and provided for.
• Co-ordinate with departments, branches to ensure required schedules, documents, other audit evidence, explanations are submitted to the auditors in time to finalize the audits.

Qualifications
• Minimum of 7 years’ experience in a Finance or Card Operations related Department, out of which 2 years at Deputy Manager level
• A Degree or a full/part professional qualification in Accounting or Finance.

• Minimum of 6 years’ experience in a Finance or Card Operations related Department out of which 2 years at Deputy Manager level
• A Degree or a full/part professional qualification in Accounting or Finance
