POSITION : Manager Finance Business Partner

LOCATION: Colombo, Sri Lanka

SALARY : Gross Rs 400K

OVERVIEW:

Our client is a leading blue chip company is seeking for a Manager Finance Business Partnering who will be responsible for providing strategic financial insights and support their operations. This role focuses on costing, budgeting, and forecasting, ensuring that financial practices are aligned with business objectives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the manufacturing industry and a strong background in financial analysis and management.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.Business Partnering: Act as a strategic partner to manufacturing operations, providing financial insights and recommendations to drive business performance. Collaborate with business unit leaders to develop financial plans that align with operational goals and objectives.

Support decision-making processes by providing financial analysis, insights, and recommendations.

2.Costing and Analysis: Oversee and manage the costing process, ensuring accurate product costing and inventory valuation. Conduct variance analysis on manufacturing costs, identifying trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement. Develop and implement cost control measures to optimize manufacturing efficiency and profitability.

3.Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process for manufacturing operations, ensuring alignment with corporate financial goals. Prepare and update rolling forecasts, providing timely and accurate financial projections. Monitor actual performance against budgets and forecasts, analyzing variances and recommending corrective actions.

4.Financial Reporting: Prepare and present regular financial reports to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and financial metrics.

Ensure compliance with internal and external reporting requirements, including timely and accurate financial submissions. Support internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.

5.Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting and analysis capabilities. Leverage financial systems and tools to streamline budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the finance team and across the organization.

6.Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of finance professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment. Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance team capabilities and performance.

PRE – REQUISITES:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Fully qualified in CIMA
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant finance experience, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong experience in costing, budgeting, and forecasting within the manufacturing industry
