Artex Global Shared Services (AGSS) provides middle office services such as Accounting, Banking & Treasury, Compliance, Underwriting, IT, Event and Travel Management etc. to the Artex offices across the world.
We are looking for a self-motivated, committed and knowledgeable achiever for the position of “Manager – Finance” in our Sri Lanka office.
Responsibilities
• Managing the Sri Lankan entity’s financial operations, including taxation, accounting, and compliance.
• Developing and implementing effective tax strategies to optimize our tax position.
• Ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with local regulations and international accounting standards.
• Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.
• Establishing and maintaining strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks.
• Leading and mentoring a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Professional qualification such as CA, CPA, CMA, or CFA is a must.
• Minimum of 5-6 years of experience in a similar role , with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and financial reporting etc.
• Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Experience with financial management software and tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• High attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
