POSITION : IT Product Lead

LOCATION: Colombo, Sri Lanka

SALARY : Gross Salary Rs 350K

OVERVIEW:

Our client is a leading blue chip company seeking for a dynamic IT Product Lead with a proven track record in both IT product development and marketing. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills along with a deep understanding of marketing strategies to drive the success of our IT products. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and effective communication skills to lead cross-functional teams and deliver innovative solutions that meet both customer needs and business objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.Product Strategy and Roadmap Development:
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with business goals and market trends.
• Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product enhancement and differentiation.
• Translate strategic objectives into actionable plans and prioritize product features based on ROI and customer impact.

2.Product Development and Lifecycle Management:
• Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle from concept to launch, ensuring timely delivery and quality execution.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, and marketing to define requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Drive agile methodologies to iterate on product features, gather feedback, and make data-driven decisions to optimize product performance.

3.Marketing Integration and Go-to-Market Strategy:
• Collaborate with marketing teams to develop comprehensive go-to-market strategies, including product positioning, messaging, and promotional campaigns.
• Drive product awareness and adoption through targeted marketing initiatives, leveraging various channels such as digital, events, and content marketing.
• Analyze marketing metrics and KPIs to measure campaign effectiveness and optimize strategies for maximum impact and ROI.

4.Customer Engagement and Relationship Management:
• Engage with customers to gather feedback, understand pain points, and validate product requirements through interviews, surveys, and user testing.
• Build strong customer relationships and advocate for their needs within the organization, ensuring continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
• Act as a spokesperson for the product, representing its value proposition and benefits to internal stakeholders, customers, and partners.

PRE – REQUISITES:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• Proven experience 06 – 08 years experience in IT product management or similar roles, with a focus on software or technology products
