The HR Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient operation of human resources functions within our Sri Lanka COE. Reporting to the VP of HR, this position collaborates closely with business leaders to align HR strategies with organizational objectives. The HR Manager will provide leadership across various HR areas and support the development and implementation of initiatives to foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Provide leadership and guidance across various HR areas, fostering an inclusive and supportive work environment.
• Offer strategic advice to the senior management team on people-related matters, considering diverse perspectives and experiences.
• Act as a trusted advisor to leaders, offering insights and recommendations on HR issues to facilitate inclusive decision-making processes.
• Develop and implement initiatives, policies, and programs that embrace diversity and promote equity and belonging.
• Manage employee benefit programs such as health insurance and retirement plans, ensuring accessibility and inclusivity for all employees.
• Ensure HR policies, procedures, and practices comply with inclusive practices and relevant laws and regulations.
• Manage HR data effectively, ensuring privacy and confidentiality, and generate reports to inform inclusive decision-making.
• Analyze HR metrics to assess program effectiveness through an equity lens and propose inclusive improvements.
• Stay updated on HR trends, including those related to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and suggest enhancements to practices.
• Manage HR administrative tasks including payroll updates and forms, ensuring accessibility and ease for all employees.
Experience and Requirements:
• Solid HR experience, with a demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and an inclusive leadership approach.
• Experience in strategic HR planning, preferably with a focus on promoting diversity and inclusion in a global context.
• Proficiency in database management, compliance, payroll, recruitment, and fostering inclusive employee relations.
• Proven track record in managing recruitment processes with a commitment to diversity and equitable hiring practices.
• Knowledge of global HR practices, especially those promoting diversity and inclusion, is advantageous.
• Understanding of HR principles, practices, and laws through an inclusive lens.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency in HR software and tools, ensuring accessibility for all users.
• Analytical mindset and organizational skills with a commitment to analyzing data through an equity lens.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and prioritize confidentiality.
• Problem-solving and leadership skills with an inclusive approach.
• Flexibility to attend meetings outside regular hours as needed, accommodating diverse scheduling needs.
