Graphic Designer – MAS Silueta (Biyagama)
Silueta is an innovative solutions provider that has altered the dynamics of the apparel industry, empowering your body to move freely and comfortably while enhancing and safeguarding your movements.
We are on the lookout for a dynamic and energetic individual to join us as a Graphic Designer. This role requires preparing all graphic artwork as per the instructions to accomplish a style/new concept that delivers the customer requirement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Attending style introduction meetings and collecting all the information related to new developments.
• Coordinating with development engineers, pattern makers, and designers.
• Gathering correct details and important specifications of all the graphics and designs from the relevant personnel and also from customers (if required)
• Making sure all the graphics and logos are print feasible and prepared as per the requirements of the customer.
• Sending the prepared artwork to customers for approval before further proceedings.
• Doing modifications and amendments to meet customer satisfaction.
• Obtaining size set patterns from pattern makers.
• Doing amendments to artworks and re-sizing all the prints including designs and logos.Sending dxf. Files of designs and logos placed on soft patterns via e-mail to pattern makers for making placement boards.
• Preparing final artwork for the size sets.
• Printing and issuing positives to screen making dept. (for both sample and production)
• Printing and issuing line positives for print alignment for both sample and production.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Degree/ Professional Qualification in Graphic Designing
• 1-2 years of relevant experience in similar capacity
