Responsibilities
• Lead and manage the freight forwarding and shipping team, including recruitment, training, and performance management
• Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance the efficiency and profitability of the freight forwarding and shipping operations
• Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring timely and efficient movement of goods
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive revenue growth
• Maintain and develop strong relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
• Ensure all operations comply with international, federal, and local regulations and standards
• Implement and maintain risk management policies to mitigate potential issues in the supply chain
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Master degree also preferred
• Minimum of 12 years of experience in freight forwarding, shipping, or logistics SBU/division, with at least 06 years in a senior management role
• Proven track record of successful leadership & team management with overseas experience
• Strong knowledge of global logistics, supply chain management, and international trade regulations
• Sales focus mind, excellent strategic planning, analytical skills are needed
