Job Role:

As a Executive – People & Culture, you will play a crucial role in sculpting the team that drives our success in the FMCG – Manufacturing sector. You will be involved in:
• Talent Acquisition Ownership: Drive the end-to-end talent acquisition process for our FMCG – Manufacturing sector, taking full responsibility for sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selecting top-tier candidates & closing all vacancies in a timely manner.
• Seamless Onboarding: Spearhead the onboarding process, ensuring a seamless experience for new hires as they integrate into our organization. This involves facilitating their smooth transition and helping them assimilate into our processes, procedures, and culture.
• Employer Branding: Lead efforts to position our Company as an employer of choice within the FMCG – Manufacturing industry through strategic partnerships with universities, institutes, and other initiatives.
• Employee Engagement: Drive the execution of dynamic activities and initiatives aimed at enhancing team spirit, engagement, and motivation across FMCG – Manufacturing sector.
• Learning and Development Ownership: Take charge of implementing robust programs that nurture the team members’ career growth and competency development.
• HR Business Partnering: Act as Junior HR business partner for the FMCG Manufacturing sector, providing HR support to the FMCG team & their senior leadership. This involves aligning HR initiatives with business objectives, providing guidance on people-related matters, and driving organizational effectiveness within the FMCG Manufacturing domain.
• HR Shared Services Collaboration: Work with the Central HR team on group-level projects and tasks as needed, ensuring alignment with broader organizational objectives.
• People & Culture Strategy Support: Partner closely with our People & Culture Manager/Senior Leadership to execute day-to-day functions and contribute to the realization of our People & Culture Roadmap for FMCG – Manufacturing sector and beyond.

Candidate Profile:
• Passionate about Sri Lanka; you’re committed to making a positive impact for our Country and its people.
• Completed Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management.
• Professional qualification in HRM is a plus ( CIPM preferred ) .
• Understanding of HR best practices and current labor regulations.
• Excellent communication skills in English & Sinhala. ( Tamil is a plus )
• Excellent IT literacy skills ( MS Office package, Microsoft 365 applications, Canva, ChatGPT, other AI tools is a plus )
• Minimum of 2 years’ HR experience, preferably in the Manufacturing/Production industry.
• Willingness to travel to various FMCG – Manufacturing locations across the island.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• A proactive, positive, and innovative mindset, combined with a strong ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
• Independent self-starter, eager to exceed expectations with minimal supervision.
• Ambitious, organized, and results-oriented, ready to embrace challenges and continuously learn on the job.
• A people person with a pleasant personality, full of enthusiasm, energy, dedication, and integrity.
