Executive – Finance (BASED AT HORANA)

We are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to contribute to customer and overall business profitability by recording, analyzing, presenting, and reviewing of financial information through formulating budgets, analyzing actual performance, preparation of periodic reports, and providing leadership in addressing root causes for variances while contributing to the development of improved business processes in alignment to accounting and internal control systems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Control and govern the material ordering process by authorizing PO’s in a timely and accurate manner.
• Influence and challenge assumptions used in the development costing area and Ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of product costing process and inventory valuations.
• Responsible to control performance of the account through timely reporting (Monthly BA reports/ Pre & Post order evaluations, Sales variance analysis/ Costing & Pricing), organizing and reviewing operational and financial performance.
• Drive Projects to improve customer profitability on areas such as RMC consumption, write offs, Air freight, Inventory management, Systems, working capital management & optimization.
• Following up on due recoveries from customers/ vendors for air freights, quality failures, order cancellations.
• Provision of management reports to organization leadership, MAS & JV partners on all matters related to turnover, inventory management raw material cost and related cost of failure by customer/ category.
• Ensure compliance with the defined governance framework including upholding the MAS DNA, following group/ company policies & procedures, best practices (where the group/ company policies and procedures are not defined) relevant laws & regulations and undertake every necessary action to comply with the governance framework.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
• Degree in Accounting or Business Management from a recognized university.
• Finalist or Partly Qualified ICASL / ACA / ACCA.
• 2 years’ experience in a similar capacity.
• Computer literate with good excel skills and solid understanding of accounting software principles.
• Awareness of current technical and reporting requirements (IFRS).
• Ability to address issues with minimum supervision.
• Good interpersonal and Communication Skills
