Executive – Direct Sales Support

The Job Role:

The Person will be responsible supporting customers with insurance policy changes, managing inquiries and complaints, tracking sales performance, ensuring timely proposal conversion, maintaining accurate tracking systems, providing administrative support, and coordinating with internal stakeholders for smooth workflow and coordination within the Direct Sales Unit.

Principle Accountabilities:
• Support and guide customers with changes to their insurance policies such as updating beneficiaries, changing coverage amounts or managing claims.
• Provide prompt and effective responses to customer inquiries and complaints related to insurance products and services.
• Track and monitor sales performance and providing regular reports to management on key metrics such as sales conversion rates, customer satisfaction and sales productivity.
• Ensure all the proposals are converted to policies before the month end and minimize proposals getting pushback and coordinate with relevant parties to clear pending proposals
• Maintain an accurate tracking system for prompt handling of issues concerned and follow up with internal stakeholders on pending tasks related to the Direct Sales Unit.
• Reconcile pending tasks during the month-end to ensure accuracy and liaison with other departments to facilitate activities whenever needed
• Provide ad hoc administrative support whenever required and collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth workflow and coordination
• Maintain and update databases, spreadsheets, and other documentation with accuracy and prepare and distribute regular reports and updates to the Direct Sales Unit
• Update and maintain all Dashboards in accurate and timely manner

Qualifications and Experience
• 2 to 3 years’ experience in administrative level work environment is preferable.
• A Degree /professional qualification from a reputed university/ institute
• Sound knowledge in administrative workings and basic understanding of insurance industry.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite.
• Highly ambitious, dynamic, self-motivated and enthusiastic personality
• Ability to work under minimum supervision, multi-task and work under pressure
