Engineer – OSS / BSS

Job Responsibilities
• Maintenance of mediation and provisioning systems including new/existing products and offering configurations / installing updates/patches to ensure the system is up to date.
• Monitor and action on system-generated daily alarms to make sure the system works uninterruptedly.
• Rectify the system issues to maintain continuous system operations.
• Perform E2E testing and verifications to carry out internal and third-party system modifications.
• Plan/ analyze and design requirements to be facilitated through the system.
• RFP preparation and technical evaluation as and when required.
• Attend to the demands of stakeholders to ensure the smooth functioning of the system.

Requirements
• Candidate should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology / Computer Science / Telecommunication from a recognized university or institute.
• Minimum 2 plus years experience in operation and maintenance in the telecommunication industry, preferably in the OSS/BSS domain.
• Experience in OSS/BSS-related product/service configurations, testing, integrations, deployment and innovations will be an added advantage.
• Should possess sound knowledge and hands-on experience in scripting (UNIX-based) and Oracle databases.
• Having sound exposure to network elements such as MSC, IMS, GGSN / SGSN, PCRF, SMSC, and HSS will be a distinct advantage.
• Ability to think logically and solve problems with good negotiation and communication skills.
