Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Lawyer to join our teams and work with our partner clients in Australia. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in drafting and reviewing franchise agreements, service agreements, and other commercial contracts. This role requires a deep understanding of Australian commercial law and a strong ability to provide strategic legal advice. The position will start as part-time and has the potential to transition into a full-time role.
Responsibilities:
• Draft, review, and negotiate franchise agreements, service agreements, and other commercial contracts.
• Provide legal advice on a wide range of commercial and corporate matters.
• Ensure compliance with Australian laws and regulations.
• Conduct legal research and prepare comprehensive reports on findings.
• Collaborate with various departments to identify legal issues and develop solutions.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in commercial law and industry standards.
• Assist in the development and implementation of company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
• Undergraduate degree in Law from an Australian institution or an affiliated institution.
• Admission to practice law in Australia.
• 3-5+ years of experience in commercial law, with specific expertise in franchise and service agreements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
• High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
