Job Title: Business Development Associate

Location: Colombo, Sri Lanka

Position Type: Full-time, In-office

Salary: 90,000 – 120,000 Sri Lankan Rupees P/M (Based on experience)

Role Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Business Development Associate to join our team. This role is perfect for junior professionals who have a keen interest in marketing and sales and are eager to learn and develop their skills. The Business Development Associate will be responsible for reaching out to potential clients via LinkedIn, social media, and email, following scripts and processes to gather leads, and passing these leads on to our sales agents to close deals.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead Generation:
• Reach out to potential clients through LinkedIn, social media platforms, and email.
• Follow predefined scripts and processes to engage with prospects and gather relevant information.
• Identify and qualify leads based on established criteria.
• Client Outreach:
• Use LinkedIn and other social media platforms to connect with potential clients and build relationships.
• Craft personalized outreach messages to initiate conversations with prospects.
• Data Management:
• Maintain accurate records of all client interactions and lead information in our CRM system.
• Track the progress of leads and ensure timely follow-up.
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with sales agents to ensure smooth handover of qualified leads.
• Provide regular updates to the sales team on lead generation activities and progress.
• Learning and Development:
• Continuously develop knowledge of digital marketing and sales strategies.
• Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance skills and stay updated on industry trends.

Requirements:
• Interest in marketing and sales, with a desire to learn and develop skills in these areas.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to follow scripts and processes while maintaining a personable and engaging approach.
• Basic understanding of LinkedIn, social media platforms, and email outreach techniques.
• Highly organized with attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Self-motivated and proactive, with a willingness to take initiative.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous experience in a sales or marketing role is a plus but not required.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and lead management processes.
