Assistant Manager, Human Resources – Cinnamon Bey Beruwala
We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Manager, Human Resources to join Cinnamon Bey Beruwala. Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts is Sri Lanka’s largest Hotel owner, with a portfolio of 15 Hotels and Resorts in both Sri Lanka and the Maldives. Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts is a member of John Keells Holdings PLC, one of the largest listed Conglomerates in Sri Lanka.
The Assistant Manager, Human Resources will be responsible for assisting the Human Resource Manager in overseeing the hotel’s HR operation while planning and implementing new HR strategies. You will ensure the HR policies and procedures are formulated across all departments and provide continuous human resources improvements. You will support the hotel management in running a healthy hotel operation by acting as a bridge between the management and the employees and ensuring the employees are happy and productive. You will proactively prevent grievances and disputes and take remedial measures by administering grievance-handling procedures and rational approaches to discipline management. You will also conduct self-audits to ensure the hotel employees comply with relevant health and safety regulations. This role will conduct workforce planning and budgeting and formulate a dynamic recruitment strategy to ensure we have the right employees to deliver our guests an outstanding guest experience. Furthermore, you will carry out employee engagement initiatives to ensure we have engaged employees.
