As Assistant Manager, HR & Administration you will be responsible for providing general support and project management for our Global HR People operations team as well as providing local human resources support to our local teams in Sri Lanka, India and Dubai.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Provide general support and project management for our Global HR People Operations team
• Provide local human resources support, including supporting employee relations, payroll, compliance, training & facilitation, company events, benefits, advising with management, on/off boarding
• Supports talent acquisition, including the recruitment process, finalization of job descriptions, reviews and sourcing of applicants, scheduling and conducting interviews, checking candidate references and in-country vetting processes, and collecting new hire documents.
• Responsible for the onboarding and orientation of newly employed staff.
• Responsible for staying up to date on local labor laws to ensure HR compliance
• Responsible for drafting employment agreements according to local labor laws, including registering agreements with required institutions if applicable
• Manages local benefits enrollment and ensures all inquiries and challenges employees face regarding their insurance are handled in a timely manner
• Provides information and advice to local staff regarding HR policies and procedures
• Receives and logs various grievances or complaints from employees and handles appropriately
• Provides oversight on updating personnel files and other related HR documents, including employment agreements, amendments, timesheets, calendar holidays, and leaves.
• Drive employee payroll process, including ensuring individual employees submit timesheets on time and reconcile with information on leaves and holidays taken.
• Serve as the point person for our local office, duties including: Maintenance, Mailing, Supplies, IT Equipment, Bills, Shopping
• Oversee office related contract and price negotiations with office vendors, service providers and office lease and ensure related invoices are paid on time
• Provide general support to visitors
• Participate in our regional events team(s) and support planning of in-house or off-site activities, like parties, celebrations and conferences
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/ Abilities:
• Multiple years of proven working experience as an HR Executive, or other elevated HR role
• Ability to work with a global team, supporting employees across different geographic regions and interacting with employees from diverse backgrounds
• Knowledge of HR systems and databases and experience working with HR Metrics
• In-depth knowledge of local labor law and HR best practices
• Strong leadership, training, developmental skills and decision-making skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, in both the local language and English, to produce reports, accept instructions and handle queries
• Strong organization skills and the ability to multitask to complete a wide variety of tasks
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact positively with all employees
• People oriented and results driven
• Attention to detail to ensure tasks are completed thoroughly and correctly
