Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Asssitant Manager/ Senior Executive in the Air Export Division. The Assistant Manager will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day air export operations, The role requires strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Job Responsibilities:

Coordination with Airline Carriers and Submission of Bookings:
• Collaborate with various airline carriers to secure space and ensure timely booking of air export shipments.
• Submit bookings accurately and monitor their confirmation and progress.

Preparation of Costing of Shipments:
• Calculate and prepare detailed costings for air export shipments, ensuring competitiveness and profitability.
• Provide cost estimates and quotes to clients and internal teams.

Experience in Handling Shipments for Leading Brands in the Apparel Industry:
• Manage and oversee the air export process for prominent apparel brands.
• Ensure compliance with brand-specific requirements and standards.

Tracking and Tracing of Shipments:
• Monitor the status of shipments through tracking systems.
• Provide timely updates to clients and internal stakeholders on shipment progress and any issues encountered.

Manage and Optimize the Air Freight Product Portfolio:
• Analyze market dynamics and customer demands to enhance the air freight product offering.
• Implement strategies to improve efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and service quality.

Work Closely with Sales and Customer Service Teams:
• Liaise with sales and customer service teams to understand client needs and expectations.
• Integrate feedback into the development and enhancement of air freight services.

Qualifications and Skills:
• Experience: Proven experience in air export operations.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of international air freight regulations and procedures.
• Skills: Excellent organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with tracking and booking systems, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to handle complex situations and provide effective solutions.
• Customer-Focused: Strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
