Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Accountant in Colombo. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial statements, analyzing financial data, and maintaining accurate records. The accountant should closely follow-up on outatanding debt and bring the exposure to the minimal levels. The Accountant will also ensure compliance with relevant regulations and provide support for audits.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team
• Understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and best practices
• Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) is a plus
