Role Description
This is a full-time role for an Accountant at our Colombo office. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for day-to-day accounting tasks such as bookkeeping, processing payroll, financial reporting, and tax compliance. You will also handle client services, including responding to inquiries and providing support. This role requires strong attention to detail analytical skills, and the ability to work with numbers and financial data.
Qualifications
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Experience in bookkeeping, financial reporting, and tax compliance
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• Professional certifications such as ACCA or CPA are a plus
