Visa & Student Counselor
Our client is a growing Educational Agency with offices in Australia (Melbourne), India, Bahrain, and Sri Lanka providing professional education, visa, and migration counseling services to international students and migrants looking to pursue their careers in Australia.
Our client is currently undergoing significant expansion and growth. Their newly opened branch in Colombo, Sri Lanka is looking for the right candidate for the post of Visa & Student Counselor.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assisting international students with all inquiries related to study and future pathways in Australia.
• Acting as a liaison between international students and education providers.
• Ensuring students meet their study visa requirements.
• Understanding international student visas and requirements.
• Providing accurate information to prospective students and offering professional advice on education provider selection and programs.
• Handling student applications based on school entry requirements and admission procedures; facilitating the student enrollment process.
• Understanding the Australia education framework and visa issues.
• Working independently to provide accurate visa information and professional advice to prospective students.
• Managing visa applications and ensuring all paperwork is prepared correctly according to regulations.
• Collaborating closely with team members to ensure students receive excellent service and advice.
• Assisting in conducting marketing activities such as social media promotions (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, etc.).
• Demonstrating high levels of problem-solving and negotiation skills.
• Exhibiting excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Demonstrating sales achievements and the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Possessing high levels of customer service skills.
• Requiring 2-3 years of work experience in a similar role.
Working Days: Monday to Friday and Saturday (half-day)
Working Hours:
• Monday to Friday: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
• Saturday: 9:00 am – 1:00 pm
