UX/UI Lead

Job description
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage the UX/UI design team, ensuring high-quality output that meets business objectives and user needs.
• Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
• Define and implement design strategies that align with product goals and business objectives.
• Develop detailed wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to communicate design ideas effectively.
• Work closely with Product Managers and Engineers to translate requirements into design concepts and ensure seamless development handoff.
• Mentor junior designers, providing guidance, feedback, and fostering an environment of collaboration and growth.
• Conduct usability tests and interpret findings to iterate on design solutions.
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in UX/UI design.
• Required Skills & Experience:
• 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design with a minimum of 2 years in a lead role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proficient in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, typography, color theory, and interaction design.
• Experience conducting user research, A/B testing, and heuristic evaluations.
• Basic understanding of front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and how design decisions affect the development process.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think both critically and creatively.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with experience presenting to stakeholders and team members.
• Keen attention to detail with a passion for delivering pixel-perfect designs.
• Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.
