Trainee Business Analyst

Job description

Key Responsibilities:
• Gather, analyze and document business requirements for various software development projects
• Conduct product demonstrations to the potential customers, identify software customization needs in order to meet customer requirements, and provide reports to procurement for clarifications.
• Conduct analysis to support the development of projects and project plans
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure project timelines are met
• Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure that delivered solutions meet business requirements
• Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and customer meeting minutes while identifying risk
• Prepare and present project plans, project status reports for all projects
• Be present in project meetings, providing updates on project status and identifying potential risks and issues
• Provide support to the other business analysts and project managers/leads as needed
• Knowledge on conduct Website Development projects will be an advantage

Educational Qualifications:
• Holding a degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Information Technology. Computer Science, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Project Management tools.
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies.
• Basic understanding of project management methodologies (e.g.. Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) is advantageous.
• Familiarity with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL) is a plus.
• Previous internship or coursework related to business analysis or project management is a bonus.
