Overview of the Job Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Tour Consultants to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a travel enthusiast, having a keen eye for detail and possess the ability to create bespoke travel itineraries that cater to the unique needs and preferences of our global clientele. As a Tour Consultant at Olanka Travels, you will be responsible for ensuring that each trip is an unforgettable experience, from the initial consultation to their return home.

Job Profile

· Client Consultation: Engage with clients to understand their travel needs, preferences and budgets, providing expert advice on destinations and travel options.

· Itinerary Planning: Design and tailor bespoke travel itineraries, ensuring a seamless and enriching experience for the client.

· Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service throughout the client’s journey, addressing any inquiries, changes or issues that may arise.

· Market Research: Stay updated on the latest travel trends, destinations and services to provide clients with the best possible options.

· Sales and Marketing: Assist in promoting and selling travel packages, ensuring targets are met.

Candidate Profile

· Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in the travel industry, preferably in a tour consultant or travel advisor role.

· Excellent communication in English verbal & written and interpersonal/ PR skills to connect with clients and cross functional teams.

· Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· A passion for travel and a deep knowledge of global destinations is an added advantage
