Job description
Responsibilities:
Airline Ticketing:
Execute all airline ticketing requirements efficiently.
Handle air ticket issuance, re-issuance, revalidation, and EMDs accurately.
GDS Management:
Check and update GDS queues regularly.
Handle schedule changes and adjustments promptly.
Client Interaction:
Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide advice on suitable fares and guidelines.
Maintain effective communication to ensure client satisfaction.
Refunds and Complaints:
Process refunds with vendors and airlines according to established procedures.
Address travel-related problems, complaints, and refunds professionally.
Customer Assistance:
Assist customers with post-sales travel requirements and inquiries.
Provide timely and helpful solutions to customer queries.
Administrative Tasks:
Ability to work with Microsoft Word, Excel, Google sheets and PowerPoint for documentation and reporting.
Generate and compile reports as requested by management.

Qualifications:
Experience and Skills:
Minimum 2 years of proven experience in airline ticketing.
Proficiency in reservation systems, specifically Sabre and Amadeus.
Understanding of ticketing rules and industry regulations.
Language and Communication:
Fluent in English and Sinhala, with excellent communication skills.
Ability to interact, communicate, and negotiate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Industry Knowledge:
Sound knowledge of domestic and international travel trends and regulations.
IATA Foundation or similar certifications.
Location and Availability:
Reside in Colombo or its suburbs for easy accessibility to work.
Able to work on a roster basis to ensure comprehensive coverage
