Job Summary:

Innodata Lanka is looking for an experienced Tech Lead – PHP to lead our development team and build high-performance, scalable web applications. If you have 5+ years of PHP development experience, strong expertise in modern frameworks, cloud technologies, and leadership skills, this is your opportunity to make an impact!

Key Responsibilities:

✔ Lead the design, architecture, and development of PHP-based applications

✔ Mentor and guide the team to improve coding standards and performance

✔ Collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers, and cross-functional teams

✔ Optimize performance, scalability, security, and maintainability

✔ Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical guidance

✔ Stay updated with the latest PHP frameworks, cloud technologies, and industry trends

✔ Implement CI/CD strategies for seamless software deployment

✔ Ensure effective documentation and knowledge sharing within the team

What We’re Looking For:

✅ 5+ years of PHP development experience (including 2+ years in a leadership role)

✅ Expertise in PHP frameworks like Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter

✅ Strong experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or other relational databases

✅ Proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Vue.js, React, or Angular)

✅ Experience in RESTful API development and third-party integrations

✅ Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and DevOps practices

✅ Understanding of microservices architecture, Docker, and Kubernetes

✅ Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications:

➕ Experience with headless CMS and API-first development

➕ Knowledge of NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis)

➕ Hands-on experience with unit testing and automation frameworks

➕ Exposure to Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and Jira
