Team Leader – Finance & Accounting

We are a recruitment company based in Colombo Sri Lanka. Our client is one of the leading Finance & Accounting Company. The below is summary of the job description.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead and motivate a team of finance professionals in performing all aspects of the Record to Report (R2R) process.
• Analyze financial data, prepare comprehensive reports for management, and ensure adherence to accounting standards.
• Oversee the processing of journal entries and reconciliation of accounts.
• Maintain a strong understanding of accounting principles and possess excellent communication skills to provide clear and concise financial information.

Qualifications:
• 4+ years relevant experience in Finance Reporting (R2R).
• Conversant in accounting Packages Sage 200 & NetSuite.
• Experience in working in UK payable transaction processing preferred.
• Following or completed a relevant degree program or professional qualification in CIMA / ACCA / AAT/ CMA/ CA.
• Good knowledge and experience in Advanced Excel with analytical skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, Leadership and Interpersonal Skills
• Willingness to work for the UK Time (12.30 pm to 9.30 pm) and Calendar.
