Job description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Lead – Accounts Payable to join our dynamic team. As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for mentoring and guiding a team of AP professionals, ensuring efficient and accurate AP operations.

Key Responsibilities,
• Mentor and guide a team of Accounts Payable professionals to achieve excellence in performance while fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
• Identify and implement strategies to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness in AP operations, driving continuous improvement.
• Work closely with various departments to align financial strategies with overall business objectives, contributing to our company’s success.
• Utilize advanced Excel skills to analyze financial data, generating actionable insights that support decision-making.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, ensuring timely payments, resolving discrepancies, and negotiating favorable terms.

Key Requirements,
• 4+ years of progressive experience in Accounting/Finance, with a focus on Accounts Payable being a strong advantage.
• Following or completed a relevant degree program or professional qualification (CIMA / ACCA / AAT / CA / CMA / CPA).
• In-depth knowledge of Australian accounting standards and practices, coupled with advanced Excel proficiency.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a proactive approach to challenges.
• Three-way matching Experience is a must.
