Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and creative individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Social Media Marketing Coordinator. This role is ideal for someone passionate about social media, digital marketing, and communication. The successful candidate will work closely with our Ecommex marketing team to develop and execute social media strategies to enhance our brand presence and engage our Ecommex target audience. You will have the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals and contribute to a dynamic and fast-paced Ecommex environment
Responsibilities:
• Social Media Management:
· Manage and maintain social media profiles across platforms such as Facebook, and Instagram.
· Create and curate engaging content, including images, videos, and written posts, to share on social media channels.
· Monitor social media trends, user engagement, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Content Creation:
· Develop compelling and shareable content that aligns with the brand’s voice and objectives.
· Collaborate with graphic designers and content creators to produce high-quality visuals and multimedia content for social media.
· Research and identify trending topics and hashtags relevant to the target audience and industry
· Craft compelling captions and descriptions that resonate with the audience
• Community Engagement:
· Foster community engagement by responding to comments, messages, and mentions on social media platforms.
· Identify and engage with influencers and brand advocates to amplify our social media reach.
· Analyze audience interactions and adjust strategies accordingly
• Social Media Campaign Management:
· Assist in the planning and execution of social media campaigns to promote products, events, and brand initiatives.
· Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of strategies and make data-driven recommendations.
· Assist with the development and execution of social media campaigns aligned with overall marketing goals
· Schedule and publish content across different platforms
· Track campaign performance using analytics tools and provide insights
• Analytics and Reporting:
· Utilize social media analytics tools to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate regular reports on social media performance.
· Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to optimize future social media initiatives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree/ Higher national diploma in Marketing, Communications, a related field. Minimum 6 months to 1 year of industrial experience as a beginner.
Strong understanding of social media (Facebook and Instagram) platforms, algorithms, and trends. Creative and analytical thinking abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent time management and organizational skills
Average written and verbal communication skills in English and fluent in Sinhala. Familiarity with basic graphics design tools is a plus.
Knowledge of social media advertising and paid campaigns (Facebook Add campaigns are a must). Enthusiastic, creative, and a quick learner with a proactive attitude.
Age below 25 years preferred (flexible based on experience and qualifications).
Mandatory to have a Laptop/ PC with a good internet speed and a noise cancellation headset to work remotely with backup devices.

We offer competitive salary packages (starting basic salary from 15,000 LKR -30,000 LKR plus other benefits) based on experience, skills, and performance. (* Please be aware that we will provide reasonable compensation and benefits based on the existing values of the Sri Lankan market and the rates for entry-level, beginning resources in this domain to work in a fully remote set up)

This is a full-time position with 8 hours of working arrangements at a remote base setup. Occasionally will be required to come to the office located in Athurugiriya
