An advanced SAP ABAP Developer is required to execute cloud-based work packages with minimal oversight. The role involves development, integration, security, DevOps, and quality testing in SAP BTP and S/4HANA Cloud environments.
Required Skills :
ABAP Development (SAP BTP & S/4HANA Cloud)
• ABAP RAP for cloud-native development
• CDS Views and annotations for data modelling and security
• AMDP for HANA-optimized logic
Integration & Interface
• OData Services (v2/v4) development
• API management and SAP Integration Suite
• Event-driven architecture with SAP Event Mesh and Kafka
• Cloud Connector and Destination Services for hybrid integration
Security & Compliance
• OAuth 2.0, JWT, and XSUAA for secure authentication
• Role-based access control and IAM in SAP BTP
DevOps & Deployment
• Git-enabled CTS (CTS) for version control
• CI/CD pipeline integration for SAP BTP projects
• Debugging and performance optimization using SAT, ST05, and ATC checks
Quality Testing & Validation
• ABAP Unit Tests for business logic validation
• Integration and regression testing for interface
• Security and authorization testing for APIs and data access
• Code quality checks using ATC and Code Inspector (SCI)
• Performance testing and optimization
Expectations
• Ability to interpret and refine requirements independently
• Strong communication with functional teams to resolve gaps
• Deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure solutions with minimal oversight
