Key Responsibilities:
• Test Case Design and Execution: Design, develop, document, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on product requirements and specifications. Perform manual testing across multiple platforms (web, mobile and desktop)
• Requirements Analysis: Review and analyse business requirements to create comprehensive test plans. Strong communication to collaborate with peers and squad mates.
• Defect Identification and Reporting: Accurately identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies. Work closely with the development team to reproduce issues and verify fixes.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Testing Fundamentals and Test Phases: Able to employ testing practices when design and maintain test cases for functional, regression, integration, and acceptance testing.
• Communication and Collaboration: Able to clearly and confidentially collaborate with developers, product owners, scrum masters, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, explain complex issues and ensure effective test coverage and risks relating to testing are well understood.
• Documentation: Maintain clear and detailed documentation of test results, defect reports, and testing processes. Able to provide test execution and progress reports to squad team members.
• Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the improvement of testing processes and methodologies to enhance overall product quality.
• User Experience: Perform usability testing to ensure that the product meets user expectations and provides a positive experience.

About You:

Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience: 2+ years of experience in manual testing and at-least 1+ years in automation testing software applications.

Essential Skills:
• Strong knowledge of software testing principles, methodologies, tools and processes.
• Knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle) and STLC (Software Testing Lifecycle)
• Experience with test case design techniques and execution.
• Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira).
• Ability to write clear and concise defect reports.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
• Experience in API testing using tools like Postman.
• Practical knowledge of Agile/Scrum Methodologies
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proactively participate in Sprint Ceremonies
• Knowledge of SQL and ability to perform basic database queries.
