Senior Manager-Recovery

Job description
A leading financial company in Sri Lanka is looking for a talented Senior Manager-Recovery to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the recovery team, ensuring that all outstanding debts are tracked and recovered efficiently.

• Develop, implement, and monitor strategies for the recovery of overdue loans, credit, and other financial instruments.

• Evaluate and assess delinquent accounts to determine appropriate recovery methods.

• Coordinate with legal and compliance teams to ensure that recovery efforts are aligned with legal requirements.

• Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, debtors, and other stakeholders to facilitate recovery efforts.

• Analyze recovery data and prepare reports for senior management, including success rates, strategies, and areas of improvement.

• Ensure the recovery department meets or exceeds its monthly, quarterly, and annual recovery targets.

• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, regulations, and trends that impact recovery operations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.

• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in debt recovery, credit management, or financial operations, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.

• Experience working in the financial services, banking, or insurance industry is highly preferred.

• Proven track record of managing recovery teams and achieving financial targets.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

•Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and financial software.
