Key purpose of the Job
The Senior Executive – Finance (Inventory) is responsible for monitoring raw material inventory and support the business with RM reporting and analysis pertaining to consumption, excess inventory etc. and advising the stakeholders on inventory provisions / schedules for the concerned SBU. The role holder coordinates with the SBU Supply Chain team for recovery actions and inventory governance / improvement projects for achievement of the Inventory KPIs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Responsible for preparation of reports, analysis to facilitate monthly Inventory review meetings.
• Collaborate with cross functional stakeholders for value creation projects (e.g. SC, Inventory related).
• Responsible for overseeing the on-time and accurate payment to suppliers, sub-contracted operations etc.
• Ensure governance and adherence to internal controls for inventory in the SBU in accordance with the stipulated guidelines.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce/ Financial/ Business Management or Charted Institute Of Management Accountants (CIMA)
Experience
2+ years of relevant experience with good knowledge of financial accounting and inventory concepts.
