Currently, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Executive – Creative Design to join our team.
Job Summary
In this role, you will be reporting to the Group Manager – Marketing and will play a crucial role in shaping and enhancing the reputation and visibility of the Royal Institute of Colombo. This role will play a pivotal role in the creative department, leading the design efforts for various projects and campaigns. This position requires a highly skilled and experienced designer with a strong creative vision and the ability to translate concepts into compelling visual content. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of design principles, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve outstanding results.
Key Responsibilities
• Ensure consistent application of brand guidelines across all design projects across RI SBUs, maintaining visual integrity and brand recognition.
• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality output.
• Design engaging and persuasive content for marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, posters, info-graphics, and presentations.
• Create visually compelling graphics for digital platforms, including website elements, social media posts, email templates, and online advertisements.
• Liaise with printing vendors to ensure the quality and timely production of printed materials, maintaining brand standards and budget constraints.
• Assist with photography and video editing tasks as needed for marketing campaigns and promotional materials.
• Practice new technology applications to enhance the quality of graphics and stay up to date with market trends, ensuring that design strategies remain innovative and competitive.
• Produce and edit video content for marketing campaigns and promotional materials, including concept development, filming, and post-production editing.
• Create/generate organic content for social media channels across different SBUs
• Practice new technology applications to enhance the quality of graphics and stay up to date with market trends, ensuring that design strategies remain innovative and competitive.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communication, or related field or equivalent professional qualifications.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in graphic design.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other design software.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating creative and innovative design solutions across various mediums.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of digital marketing principles and best practices is a plus.
