Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Senior Events & Immersion Executive at Rockland Distilleries located in Colombo. The role involves planning and executing events, as well as managing immersive experiences to promote Rockland’s brands and engage consumers. The Senior Events & Immersion Executive will work closely with the marketing and sales teams to create impactful brand experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
• Event Planning: Collaborate with departments to understand their goals and objectives to develop and execute event plans that exceed expectations.
• Logistics Management: Oversee all logistical aspects of events
• Creative Conceptualization: Contribute fresh and innovative ideas to create unique event concepts that engage and resonate with target audiences.
• Budget Management: Manage event budgets effectively to maximize resources while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Vendor Coordination: Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, negotiate contracts, and ensure all suppliers deliver their services as per agreements.
• On-Site Execution: Ensure flawless execution of events, managing all on-site activities and troubleshooting issues.
• Post-Event Evaluation: Conduct post-event evaluations and gather feedback to continuously improve event planning and execution processes.

Qualifications:
• Proven experience in event planning and activations, preferably in a similar role.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail.
• Proficiency in event planning software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
• A valid Driving license.
• A bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Business, or a related field is an added advantage.
