Walkers Tours is a premiere Destination Management Company owned by Sri Lanka’s largest conglomerate John Keells Holdings PLC with five decades of experience in the FIT, GIT and MICE segments along with a large portfolio of Tour Operators spread globally.

We invite applications from suitably qualified individuals for the post of Senior Department Head – Finance. The selected candidate will report to the Chief Executive Officer and will be based at the Corporate Office.

Job Responsibilities

Responsible for the WTL accounting functions focusing on the preparation of monthly accounts- financial and management accounts, preparation of Hotel Exp and Transport cost provision on entries, preparation of monthly J/E. Handling the audit of the company and liaising with auditors. preparation of best estimates, preparation and uploading to SAP plan and reforecast. preparation of GMC files and other management reports. overlook the finance function of the taxi line operation. responsible for cash and bank functions, ensure all balance sheet accounts are reconciled and preparation of schedules monthly, handling of vehicle loans and responsible for WTL payroll.
