Job Description
As a Senior Accountant – UK Accounting & Tax, you will handle end-to-end accounting and tax compliance for UK-based clients. From preparing VAT and payroll to filing statutory returns, you’ll ensure accuracy, compliance, and professional service with every transaction.

Shift: Mon – Fri, 01:00 PM – 10:00 PM; Weekends Off

The Qualifications We Seek
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a BPO environment focused on UK accounting and taxation.
• Proficient in Xero, QuickBooks, TaxCalc, and BrightPay.
• AAT / ACCA / ACA part-qualified or qualified (or equivalent experience).
• Strong understanding of UK GAAP, VAT, and HMRC filing requirements.
• Experience preparing financial statements and working with small to medium-sized UK businesses.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to meet multiple client deadlines with a high level of accuracy.
• Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with cloud-based collaboration and remote work environments.
Your Daily Tasks
• Perform accurate bookkeeping and bank reconciliations using Xero and QuickBooks.
• Prepare and file VAT returns in accordance with HMRC requirements.
• Generate and analyze monthly management reports for clients.
• Prepare year-end statutory accounts using TaxCalc.
• Complete Corporation Tax returns for UK companies.
• File Self-Assessment returns for individuals, including sole traders and directors.
• Manage payroll processing using BrightPay, including RTI submissions.
• Liaise with clients and respond to queries in a timely, professional manner.
• Ensure compliance with UK accounting standards and HMRC regulations.
• Support internal process improvement and knowledge sharing.
