Job Overview:

The Sales Merchandiser will be responsible for driving the sales of packaging materials within the apparel sector by leveraging industry knowledge, sales expertise, and an established network. This role will focus on cultivating relationships with key stakeholders in apparel manufacturing, identifying new business opportunities, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet client needs.

Key Requirements:
• 2-4 years of experience in apparel merchandising, sales, or similar roles within the packaging or apparel industry.
• In-depth understanding of the apparel manufacturing process and packaging requirements.
• Strong professional connections and relationships within Sri Lanka’s apparel industry.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and internal teams.
• A degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred but not required.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute targeted sales strategies to meet and exceed sales objectives.
• Build and nurture strong relationships with apparel manufacturers, buyers, and key industry contacts.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, expanding the company’s footprint in the market.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver customized solutions and ensure client satisfaction.
• Monitor and report on sales performance, providing regular updates to management.
• Stay informed about industry developments, emerging trends, and competitor activities to remain competitive.
• Manage order processing, client follow-ups, and ensure seamless coordination between clients and internal teams.
