Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Sales Manager at York Graduate Campus. The Sales Manager will be responsible for day-to-day sales activities, including building and managing client relationships, developing sales strategies, and meeting sales targets. The role will involve working closely with the admissions team to promote educational programs and drive student enrollments.
Key Responsibilities:
– Develop and implement campus-specific sales strategies to promote our products/services.
– Build and maintain relationships with key campus organizations, clubs, and influencers.
– Organize and execute events, presentations, and promotions to increase brand visibility.
– Collaborate with the marketing team to create tailored content and campaigns for students.
– Track and analyze sales performance, adjusting strategies as needed.
– Report on campus sales performance and provide insights to senior management.
– Represent the company at career fairs, student events, and networking opportunities.
– Manage and monitor the performance of the counselors, ensuring they meet performance targets.
– Review and assess counselors’ daily call reports to track productivity and sales efforts.
– Ensure the sales team achieves their targets and take responsibility for achieving overall sales goals.
– Ability to work on weekends as required, to maximize sales opportunities and engagement.
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree (recent graduate or in the final stages of your degree).
– Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
– Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
– Enthusiastic and confident in building relationships with students and university faculty.
– Previous sales or event management experience is a plus, but not required.
– Strong leadership skills and experience in managing or evaluating sales team performance.
– Ability to monitor daily performance and drive accountability.
– Proximity to Kelaniya or Wattala area is preferred for ease of commuting.
