About The Position
Amanwella is seeking an experienced Resort Manager to oversee operations with a strong focus on Front of House and Guest Relations. This role requires a driven and energetic leader with a proven background in front office management, exceptional guest-facing skills, and meticulous attention to detail. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a blend of commercial acumen, administrative excellence, and decision-making capability to ensure a seamless, luxurious guest experience while driving operational efficiency and profitability. The Resort Manager will apply vision, drive, and attention to detail to lead an exceptional resort team and elevate the guest experience to new heights.
Responsibilities
As the driving force behind our guest services team, the Resort Manager will inspire and empower their employees to deliver outstanding, personalized experiences that exceed expectations. From overseeing front desk operations, concierge services, reservations, and transport logistics, to ensuring every guest interaction is seamless and professional, the leadership of the Resort Manager will set the standard for excellence.
In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for guest concerns, resolving issues swiftly and professionally. You will ensure the front office team provides an impeccable first impression and consistently maintains the highest service standards, collaborating closely with housekeeping to uphold the luxury quality of rooms and public areas.
Your operational expertise will shine as you manage policies, conduct inspections, and analyze data to identify trends and implement strategic improvements. With a keen focus on financial performance, you will manage budgets, optimize occupancy, and enhance revenue streams to drive overall profitability.
A natural mentor and coach, the Resort Manager will lead recruitment, training, and professional development initiatives for your team, fostering a collaborative, guest-focused culture that thrives on delivering service excellence.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field (preferred).
• 3–5 years of senior-level front office or guest services experience in luxury hospitality.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal and guest-facing abilities, with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in hotel management software (e.g., Opera, PMS).
• Financial acumen with experience in budgeting and revenue optimization.
• Ability to thrive in high-pressure situations, maintaining a calm and professional demeanor.
