We are looking for a meticulous and customer-oriented Reservations Executive to join our growing team to aid our Revenue Management Consultant with the day to day operations of the sales and reservations department.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing hotel reservations, ensuring accuracy, and providing exceptional service to our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Reservations Management:
• Handle all reservation inquiries efficiently, whether received via phone, email, or online booking platforms.
• Accurately record and update guest details and reservation information in the system.
• Process payments and manage billing information.
Guest Relations:
• Respond promptly to guest queries and special requests, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Provide information about room rates, special packages, and hotel facilities.
• Assist in resolving any issues or concerns related to reservations, ensuring guests have a seamless experience.
Coordination & Communication:
• Liaise with the front office and other departments to ensure accurate communication of guest requirements and reservation details.
• Maintain effective communication with travel agents and other partners to maximize room occupancy and revenue.
Data Management & Reporting:
• Maintain and update reservation records, ensuring data accuracy and security.
• Generate reports on reservation statistics, booking patterns, and room availability.
• Monitor and manage room availability to optimize occupancy and revenue.
Marketing & Promotions:
• Assist in implementing promotional campaigns and special offers to attract guests.
• Upsell additional services and amenities to enhance the guest experience and increase revenue.
Booking Platforms & OTA Management:
• Manage bookings and guest communications on online travel agencies (OTAs) such as Booking.com, Agoda, Expedia, and others.
• Ensure accurate listing information and availability across all platforms.
Administrative Tasks:
• Maintain an organized filing system for all reservations and related documentation.
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in a reservations role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Proficiency in using hotel reservation systems and online booking platforms.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure.
• Proficiency in English and Sinhala; knowledge of Tamil is an advantage.
Salary Package:
Basic (LKR 60,000*) + Service Charge
