Position: Project Manager
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Project Manager to oversee and support our small team of developers in Sri Lanka. As a Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our development team delivers high-quality software on time. By bridging the gap between management and developers, you’ll drive project success, streamline workflows, and enhance team productivity. This position offers flexibility, with occasional visits to our Sri Lanka office to strengthen team collaboration.
Responsibilities
• Translate software briefs into clear, actionable tasks and projects.
• Drive productivity and ensure the team meets project goals.
• Identify and resolve current and potential blockers to project progress.
• Maintain effective communication with the management team.
Required Skills and Qualifications
• Exceptional English communication skills (critical for liaising between developers and management).
• Relevant project management certification (e.g., Agile, Scrum), demonstrating your ability to apply modern methodologies.
• Experience managing and collaborating with Sri Lankan developers or familiarity with cultural nuances.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience managing software projects, with a proven track record of delivering results.
Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Have):
• Technical background in software development or familiarity with retail integration tools.
• Experience with project management tools like Jira, Trello, or Asana.
