Job Description
Role Purpose
The People & Culture Partner is responsible for partnering with key business leaders, providing strategic and operational advice and supporting employees and management. This will Include day-to-day HR activities such as employee relations, performance management, training, recruitment and general HR advice. The People & Culture Business Partner will proactively work to identify any potential HR requirements within their client group as well as working collaboratively with the Senior Manager – People & Culture and other members of the People & Culture team to develop and implement HR projects and build the capability of the HR function.
Key Responsibilities
• HR generalist responsibilities combined with subject matter expertise in payroll & remuneration.
• Confidently provide expert HR advice and assistance to employees and management on a full range of issues and practices, including employee retention, employee analytics, employee relations and employee engagement.
• Advise and coach management on employment related matters in accordance with legislation, HR policies and procedures and appropriate industrial instruments.
• Facilitate performance management and grievance issues in accordance with company policy and legislative requirements.
• Remain up to date with HR/IR industry trends.
• Lead a range of HR projects and any other duties as directed.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Behavioural Science, Law or related field.
• 7 – 10 years’ experience as a HR Business Partner in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment. Telco and/or Tech sector experience preferred but not essential
• A thorough understanding and technical expertise in either Remuneration & Benefits or Learning and Development
• Strong organisational skills and the multiple priorities.
• Strong influencing and relationship building skills with the ability to adapt communication style for various audiences.
• Strong commercial acumen.
• Agile problem-solving skills.
